Edit Customer’s Order
- If the delivery date picker (calendar) is set on the cart page, you (or Shopify Admin) can edit and change the selected delivery date of the customers if there are any changes in the delivery schedule.
- For that navigate to Orders menu and click on that specific order for which you want to edit and change the scheduled delivery date.
Note: Being a Shopify Admin, you can only edit the delivery date of the orders if you have set the delivery date picker (calendar) on the cart page. But, if you have selected the delivery date picker (calendar) on the product page, Shopify Admin cannot edit the delivery date.
- To change the scheduled delivery date & time, click on More actions from the header.
- By clicking on Assign Delivery Date under the “More” actions, you will be navigated to the “Assign Delivery Date page”.
- From here, you can change the date from the “Deliver On” option and as per the day selection, the “Time Slots” will appear in the Selected Slot option. After selecting the date & time slot of delivery, click on Save button.
- In this way, you can change the customers’ scheduled delivery date.
Note: Delivery date can be assigned or changed if the order is in the “Draft”. If there are multiple products in the order, you can assign the delivery date product wise individually. For that, you will get the product selection drop-down option in the “Product Name”.
Crete Order (Manually)
- Shopify Admin can also create a manual order(s) from the Shopify backend and assign the Delivery Date. The manually created orders will be moved to the “Draft”.
- Now, by clicking on the Assign Deliver Date, you will be navigated to the “Assign Delivery Date” tab.
- From here, you can select and assign the delivery date with the time slots if the time slot is enabled from the app configuration.
