To go to the Shipping profile you have to navigate to Shipping Rates in Settings.
Configure Shipping Settings
- You can configure the shipping setting like To Enable, Disable or Test Mode for created shipping rates.
Setting up shipping rates visibility
- You have to perform the given steps to apply shipping rates you have added based on product and zones :
- Enable : To apply all rates on the front store for end users, you have to enable the radio button and save settings.
- Disable : To disable all rates on the front store you have to disable from the setting and save the settings.
- Test Mode : If you just wanted to check the rates you have created and verify on the front store, you can use test mode. To review the prices, click on the Test Mode & save settings.
- Note : For Test mode you have to write _appjettyuser in Last Name on the front store. It will show shipping rates accordingly for testing purposes.
Store backend
- Now you have to perform a few steps after the settings are done.
- After saving, you have to go to Settings and there you will find Shipping and delivery options.
- Navigate to Shipping and delivery > General Profile > Shipping Zones.
- From the Shipping Zones section you will find the option to Add rates.
- Click on Add rate button, to select Use carrier or app to calculate rates radio button. By doing so, you will find the Application name in the dropdown below.
- Select your application and click on Done.
- After the application is added, You have to Save the configurations and you can view your application in the Shipping to section.
Set up for each settings
- After performing these steps, your respective setting will be published on the front store.
- Once you set up all configurations and after adding your API for application you can proceed further with the settings.
Create New Profile
- Here you can add a custom shipping profile and rates for a group of products. Click on Create New Profile and insert the Profile Name.
- Here in this section, you can view the profile name, set shipping rate calculation and product list where you can add products and in Shipping to you can assign zones.
- Profile Name
- By clicking on the Create New Profile, a pop-up is displayed where you can enter the profile name.
- Shipping Rate Calculation
- By enabling this feature Shipping rate will be calculated based on the quantity of the products taken from this profile.
- Suppose two products are taken from this shipping profile and the base price is 100 then the price will be calculated as (2 * 100) = 200.
- For Example : There are 3 products added in the cart. 2 products are from profile 1 and shipping rate of that profile is 100. 1 product is from profile 2 and shipping rate of that profile is 200.
- Now 3 Products are from different profile and if toggle button is on then Total Shipping rate will be 100*2=200 & 200*1 = 200, Total shipping rate of the cart products is 400.
- If Disabled, the Shipping rate will not be calculated based on product quantity taken from this profile and the shipping rate will be 100 + 200 = 300.
- Products
- Now, you can add the products to this profile to set up separate rates for those products.
- You can also select the products based on the collection as well as the variants can also be selected. After selecting the products, click on Done.
- Now a list will be displayed where you can see Images, Product title, Variant items that you selected and the Action column is for removing products from the product list.
- Click on Manage Products to add and remove products.
- Shipping To
- Here, you can add Zones and all those zones will be displayed here which have been created in zip code configurations. By adding zones you can configure shipping rates, all rates will be applicable for respective zones and products. All zip codes you have added in Zone, shipping rate will be calculated accordingly.
- Click on Assign Zones in order to add zones.
- Select the zones you want to add among the given zones.
- The selected zones will be displayed in the list of Shipping To section. Now you have to add the shipping method for the zones that have been selected. Click on Add Shipping Method to do so.
Now fill the following fields :
- Method Name : Enter the name of the method like Express or Basic.
- Base Price : When any of the rate modifiers will be not applicable then base price will be calculated.
- Description : Enter the description of the method.
- Service Code : You have to add the service code here.
- Combined Rate Type : If 2 or more rate modifiers are created and any of the 2 or more shipping rates are applicable then you can set Combined Rate Type – Highest or Lowest. It will consider any of the prices accordingly.
- In the Rate modifier you can set the condition as per the requirement which means that you can set Subtotal, Day of week and Date from the condition dropdown.
- You have to add conditions like ==, !=, >=,<= and then you have to Enter Amount along with the condition you want to apply.
- By clicking on the Add Condition you can add multiple conditions. Also, you can set condition types such as All, Any and None from the dropdown.
- You can set the price for the entered conditions.
Combination rate type
- When you add multiple shipping rates and if the rate matches then combined rate will be considered and if you set highest in combination rate then rate with higher price will be considered and if you set as lowest then rate with lower price will be considered.
Configure Shipping Profile
General Shipping Profile
Here you will be provided with the default shipping profile where you can add the locations to where you can assign zones as well as add the shipping method. All the products are available in this section.
By clicking on the Manage button you can add/edit the required details.
Custom Shipping Profile
In this section those shipping profiles that are added by you are listed. You can make changes by clicking on the Manage button.
