Create Zip Code Rule
Navigate to ‘Settings > Create Zipcode Rule’ in order to add a zip code rule.
Listing
The grid in this module consists of Zipcode Rule Name, Country, State, City, Priority, Rule Type, Rule Status and Action columns.
Through the Action column, one can edit, delete and even export a particular rule. Note that, when you click on the Edit icon for a rule, it opens the same page as the Create Rule page with all the previously entered details of that zipcode rule.
Bulk Actions
You can update the rule type and status in bulk, as well as export all rules at once.
Create Rule
In order to create a new rule, you need to direct towards the “Create Rule” button.
Zone Details
You need to add the Rule Name. Moreover enter the Country, State and the City name.
Rule Status: Activate or deactivate rules for specific rules.
Rule Type: A whitelist is considered an allowed delivery zipcode area, while a blacklist is considered a restricted delivery zipcode area.
Priority: If the same zipcode falls under multiple rules, the rule with the highest priority will be considered.
Type of Zip Code
Various zip codes as per your requirement can be added through this section. There are 3 ways to add the zip codes:
1. Single
You just need to enter a single zip code for your store. Through comma separation you can add multiple zip codes.
Also, by clicking on the Add Zipcode you can add more single Zipcode(s).
Further, you can set the number of days for Return and exchanges and also if needed, Enable Cash on Delivery option.
2. Range
You can set the range of zip codes in From and To.
You can also set the “Estimated Delivery Days” for the delivery.
For ex: This adds 360051 to 360059 in between zones. Note that the range of the zipcode proceeds in ascending order only which means that if in the From section.
3. CSV
You can also upload the CSV file with zip codes. A sample file is also provided.
After all the configurations, click on the Save button to save the configurations.
Zipcode Listing
In this section you can see the listing view of the created zip codes. Zipcode, Estimated Days, Returns and Exchanges, Cash On Delivery and Type will be displayed in the list. Also, you can perform Edit and Delete Action.
Once you have added all the required details, proceed to Save the zipcode rule. This newly created rule will then be displayed in the Listing.
Assign Zip Code Rule
To assign a zipcode to different products, navigate to Settings > Assign Zipcode Rule. Here, you can configure rules to control which products are available based on specific zipcode restrictions, ensuring targeted product availability.
You can assign multiple products to different areas by clicking on “Assign Rule”. On the assign rule page, you will find three options:
1. Apply To All Products
2. Individual Collection
3. Individual Products
Select “Apply To All Products” and choose the Zipcode Rule from the drop-down if you want to apply it to all products.
If you want to apply a zipcode rule to a specific product category, select “Individual Collections“.
– For ex: to apply this rule to all products added to the homepage, click the [+] icon next to the action.
– This will open a pop-up where you can choose the assign rule.
To assign a zipcode to a specific product, select “Individual Product“.
– Then, click on the + icon and choose the zipcode rule you want to assign to that product.
– This will open a pop-up where you can choose the assign rule.
Once assigned, click on the “Save” button.
On the “Show Assignment” page, you will see the list of all the assigned rules. You can view the products associated with the zipcode rules and you can delete existing rules from this list.
