In General Settings you would be able to configure Add to Cart, Checkout Button, Delivery Estimated, Waiting List, Zipcode Reports and Location Detection.
Disable Add to Cart
Enabling this setting prevents checkout for inaccessible locations, while disabling it allows products to be added to the cart. When enabled globally, cart access is permitted by default; when disabled, products cannot proceed to the cart.
1. Add to Cart Restrictions
– Enable this option to prevent customers from adding products to the cart for undeliverable areas. If disabled, customers will be able to add products to the cart.
For Example:
Considering the “Add to Cart Restrictions” option is enabled; now if the customer enters the Zipcode 380011 and if the product is not deliverable to this location then they won’t be able to add the selected product to the cart. But when disabled, the customer could add the selected product into the cart.
2. Restrict Blacklisted Zipcode Only
– When globally enabled, only those customers whose location has been blacklisted will not be able to proceed to the cart page.
3. Custom selectors, Does your theme have custom add to cart button on product page ?
– When enabled, we will be requiring your customized name attribute value for the Add to Cart button in the “Add to Cart Button Selector” field.
Disable Checkout Button
Preventing the checkout button from being accessed will restrict orders from non-serviceable regions, effectively reducing the likelihood of refunds and cancellations.
1. Restrict customers from placing an order if they don’t live in serviceable area
– Enable this option to prevent orders from those areas where the products are not deliverable. If disabled, irrespective of product availability in that specific area/location customers will be able to place orders.
2. Custom selectors, Does your theme have custom checkout button on cart page ?
– When enabled, we will be requiring your customized name attribute value for the checkout button in the “Checkout Button Selector” field.
Configure Zipcode Character Limit
Here one can restrict the maximum number of characters that can be entered in the zipcode input field.
1. Indian Zipcode Validation (Numbers only, Allow only 6 digits)
– You can restrict the input to exactly 6 numeric digits, by enabling it, if your store serves only Indian customers.
2. Zipcode Input Box Maximum Character Length (includes spaces)
– You can now set a maximum character length based on your country’s zipcode format.
– For zipcodes with spaces (e.g., A1A 1A1), set the length to 7.
– For zipcodes without spaces (e.g., 380001), set the length to 6.
Note: Only one configuration can be active at a time.
Delivery Estimated
Configure the display of estimated delivery time on the product page.
1. Show Estimated Delivery Time
– By enabling this option, the product page will showcase the estimated delivery time.
2. Estimated Date Configuration
– Enable this feature to provide estimated dates instead of estimated days.
