If your cut-off time lets customers still book the same-day after the deadline, it’s almost always one of three things. Run this checklist in order.
- Turn on product-level configuration. A per-product cut-off is ignored if the product isn’t enabled for its own settings. Go to Shipping & Delivery → Product Based Set-up, find the product, and switch on Enable Product Level Configurations, then open Configuration and set the Cut-off Time.
- Check your time zone. A wrong store time zone makes the cut-off fire at the wrong hour. Confirm it under Shipping → Manage Delivery Availability → Time Zones (and per location under Locations → Time Zone).
- Confirm where the cut-off lives. The general cut-off is set per day under Shipping → Time Slots → Cut-off Time; product- and location-level cut-offs are set separately under Product Based Set-up and Locations. Setting it in one place won’t apply to the others.
One thing to keep in mind: the cut-off works together with your preparation/processing days. And if a customer selects a valid date before the cut-off but completes payment after it, that earlier date can still stick to the order.
If still stuck: Share an order number where the cut-off was bypassed (or let us create a test order) and we’ll pinpoint it — reach us at support.
